About
Born and raised in the Bay Area I have a BFA in Photography from the Academy of Art University. I’ve been photo editing and retouching for over ten years and I bring a high level of passion and energy to my work. I am located in Oakland, Ca.
I started as the Photography Intern at the San Francisco Giants in 2012 as their third shooter, archivist and post production point person. It was here I learned to love the fast paced environment of sports photography as well as archivist skills working with 35mm and slide film. My work was featured in their photo book about the 2012 season One Common Goal.
In 2014 I worked for CafePress as a High-Volume Image Reviewer where I used my editing skills to help cull their cache of images for product use. I worked with thousands of images to create the perfect library for users to find the right image for their project.
In 2015 I was brought on by Pottery Barn Kids, a company owned by Williams-Sonoma Inc where I worked as a Production Assistant for their e-commerce creative teams. I was a part of a small team where we were the image point person for our cross-function teams as well as internally. We received, color corrected and retouched when needed and populated the website from the back end through many high intensity seasons.
In 2018 I was brought on by website BabyCenter as an Assistant Photo Editor to help curate the image library as well as produce lifestyle photoshoots. I wanted to learn more about production and worked with a very tiny team to bring small family shoots to life throughout the Bay Area. I conceptualized, planned and directed the shoots as well as did all post-production work.
2019 brought me to Walmart as a Production Artist where I hit the ground running as a retoucher for their e-commerce team. I retouch large scale marketing imagery as well as item work with a high level of expectation. An in-house team of retouchers we work both in our lab as well as on set in the studio where we retouch live while the shoots are happening right in front of us.
January 2021 I started as a Retoucher for RH on a brand new project for their product design team. I am a one person team where we color correct, composite and retouch all kinds of renderings and photos of the many different products RH has to offer to a very high standard. We work from physical and digital samples with short turn arounds while juggling multiple projects. It’s a fast-paced environment where quality is their top priority.
In July 2022 I left RH and became the lead retoucher for architecture and interior photographer Garrett Rowland in San Francisco. I am responsible for the majority of the retouching for major clients throughout the US, as well as quality checking a junior retoucher on our team. It’s fast paced and incredibly detailed oriented, which continues the high level of work I’ve been doing for over a decade.
in 2023 I started taking freelance work from different photographers and companies from around the US and look forward to what comes next.
